This is a commissioned painting of two otters in love. I don't often do otter paintings, but this painting was such a joy to work on, especially since it was for such incredibly good friends. The otters are semi-abstract and colorful, though not hidden. I love expressing love in paintings, and otters have very loving expressions to capture. This is a Christian Ives oil painting.
