After a visit to New York City a few years ago, I was very inspired by a few art shows. One show especially was the “Painting Now” show at the MOMA. I was so inspired by all of the new directions Penny could go, and I was very influenced to do some experimentations of my own. This painting was painted shortly after I got back home. Even though I don't paint This Way anymore, this experience really expanded my horizon to paint in a way that feels more like myself. This is a Christian Ives original oil painting.
