After I moved to Oregon, I became infatuated with the marine life..especially the sea lions. I would take weekend trips to Coos Bay and Simpson Reef where there were literally hundreds of sea lions. On one of my trips, I saw this sea lion emerge out of the water and make his way up the rocks only 30 feet away from me. He had this wonderful confidence and was so at peace with his surroundings, including myself.
