This is an oil painting of a corgi I call “The Ranger.” Corgi's have always made me laugh, and when we first moved to Virginia in 2022 I saw so many Corgi's around that I just had to paint one. This painting was done very traditionally with a grizaille underneath the colors with very thin layers of paint on top. This is an original Christian Ives oil painting.
