This is a semi-abstract painting of a red panda. While visiting my sister in Atlanta, we took a trip to the Atlanta Zoo. Of all the animals, I really enjoyed taking my time with the red pandas. They had such curious and fun personalities. Although this painting gradually became a lovable and curious dog, Creature of Habit is influenced from these red pandas fro Atlanta. This little guy is full of curiosity and playful determination, emerging from a swirling pool of reds, greens, blues and oranges.  This is an original painting from artist Christian Ives.
