A cool blue and green wave splashes through the top and bottom of the painting, lightly scattering over the black and peach background. A glowing warm face resides in the middle, calmly resting and completely at peace. I love going to the ocean and watching the layers of waves as they approach the shore. Though the waves cannot be controlled the sea life seems to work between the waves. Seals, otters and many others have such abundant lives around these waves. This is a metaphors for this painting.
