Approaching a ledge with a single tree, there lies a valley of the deepest red. With a swirling sky of whites, blues and greens there is a sense of a storm coming. This painting is from a trip I took from Roseburg to Coos Bay, Oregon at the end of Fall. The road went on forever in the forest until I came across this valley. It was sublime and truly unreal.
