This is an oil painting of a hound dog I created when we first moved to Virginia. This was my first experience living in Virginia, and I wanted to do a series of paintings of animals that were true to this state. Among a fox, horse, and rabbit I decided to do a hound dog as well. This is a Christian Ives original oil painting.
