Sometimes the right person appears in your life briefly enough to change everything for the better, even if they have to go. This is a painting I did remembering a friend that helped me get out of a very toxic relationship. Nothing ever happened between the two of us, but she made me realize in just the week we hung out how happy I could be, and that I wasn't happy in that previous relationship. Although I haven't seen her since that wonderful week together, I am eternally greatful she helped change the course of my life for the better. This is a Christian Ives painting.
